Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect a growing number of people in the United States and around the world. In response to this ongoing pandemic, Shore Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health is providing individuals with Telemental Health services for all existing and new patients. At Shore Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health, we provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess patients’ cognitive and psychological status.
Some common areas of assessment include overall intellectual abilities, visual and verbal memory skills, immediate and sustained attention, processing speed, and executive functioning. Other areas include motor functioning, perceptual reasoning, expressive and receptive language abilities, and visual-spatial skills. Our neuropsychological evaluations also include an assessment of adaptive behavior, academic achievement, and emotional functioning.
Shore Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health operates a comprehensive Concussion Center that focuses on all forms of concussion injuries, ranging from sports concussions to elderly concussions.
Dr. Kristine Keane provides baseline and post-injury testing utilizing ImPact testing. ImPact (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) is a computerized concussion testing system that aids practitioners in making sound return to play and return to work or school decisions. It is the first, most widely used, and validated computerized concussion evaluation system.
Our practice offers psychotherapy and counseling services including individual psychotherapy, and family and couple’s counseling. Experienced practitioners utilize evidence-based methods to treat a wide range of issues in a comfortable and supportive setting. Treatment approaches are tailored to each person’s needs to help them achieve their goals.
Many parents and families find themselves on an unforeseen voyage to assist their child or adolescent in their recovery from a neurological injury or in overcoming attentional problems or learning disabilities.
Shore Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health offers a specialized Child Psychotherapy and Learning Disability (LD) program to address the challenges that accompany coping with the neurobehavioral impact of an LD or injury as well as the demands on the family to provide care. A variety of helpful treatment and rehabilitation services are also offered to children and adolescents.
