Coronavirus & Telemental Health Services

Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect a growing number of people in the U.S. and around the world. There have been multiple cases confirmed throughout New Jersey.

In response to this crisis, Shore Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health is providing individuals with Telemental Health services for all existing and new patients. Telemental Health is the provision of psychological counseling and support over the internet through video conferencing or a phone call.

You may want to research this treatment option to determine if it can be helpful for you. Ask your current mental health provider about their experiences or thoughts on telemental health. Medicare, Horizon, Aetna, Optum Health, United and other third party insurance carriers are now covering this service to assist in providing individuals with continued care despite face to face restrictions.
