Rachel Patla, MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgian Court University and later went on to earn a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Georgian Court University. She has since worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, residential, supportive housing, and intensive outpatient programs. She has facilitated group and individual counseling.
Rachel has experience helping a wide range of ages from children to adults who have suffered from low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, substance abuse disorders, parenting challenges, and overwhelming life stress. Rachel uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing as well as mindfulness techniques during counseling sessions.
Rachel believes that the best therapeutic relationship is built upon care and respect as well as providing a warm, trusting, compassionate environment.
