Dr. Zall-Crawford is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of New Jersey. She administers psychological assessments to children, adolescents and adults with a variety of concerns including Autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety and learning disorders. She also provides high quality therapy to clients from preschool through adulthood utilizing a cognitive behavioral approach. Dr. Zall-Crawford has worked within the schools as a member of the Child Study Team, in private practice with a specialty in adolescent females, and most recently, in a hospital setting as a Supervisor for Outpatient Psychology.
Dr. Zall-Crawford received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Manhattanville College, a Master’s Degree in School, Psychology from Rowan University and a Doctoral degree in School Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Prior to joining Shore Neuropsychology and Behavior Health, Dr. Zall-Crawford worked at Childrens Specialized Hospital (Toms River and Egg Harbor Township NJ sites) over the last 8 years as a staff psychologist, senior psychologist and most recently as the Supervisor of Outpatient Psychology. While at CSH, Dr. Zall-Crawford provided psychological assessments and autism assessments for children aged 3 through 21 , as well as psychological therapy. She is trained and experienced in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scales 2 and Childhood Autism Rating Scales. She has worked on multidisciplinary teams that included psychiatrists, neuro developmental pediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
Serving as a School Psychologist for many years, Dr. Zall-Crawford is very familiar with the process of Child Study Team evaluations, the New Jersey Administrative Code and Parental Rights in Special Education. She is well versed in how to best advocate for children and families in order for them to receive appropriate services. In her work with children and adolescents, Dr. Zall-Crawford believes in looking at the whole person, utilizing not only individual assessments, but also parent and teacher reports, observation and history to best understand the individual.
Dr. Zall-Crawford works hard to ensure that every client is provided with the highest quality care and goes out of her way to accommodate each patient’s cultural background, preferences and needs. Through humor, genuineness and empathy she allows clients to feel comfortable, connected and supported.
