Jessica Casey, MS, NCC, LPC

Jessica Casey, MS, NCC, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Hofstra University and went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Monmouth University. After graduation, Jessica worked at a substance abuse treatment facility and then moved on to a non-profit community mental health agency. Jessica has worked with individuals, couples, families and groups. Jessica has experience working with individuals of all ages ranging from ages 4 and up. Jessica has extensive experience working with those who have experienced trauma, specifically sexual abuse and domestic violence, as well as individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, and phase of life transitions.

Jessica approaches psychotherapy through a trauma-informed lens working together with clients in order to determine the best therapeutic approach based on individual needs. Jessica utilizes a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness strategies, as well as EMDR and Sand Play therapies.

Jessica believes the therapeutic relationship is a crucial aspect in therapy and works to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment for individuals to learn, grow and heal.
