Kelly Passanisi, LPC, LCADC, NCC

Kelly Passanisi is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of New Jersey, and a National Certified Counselor recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors. Kelly earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and also focused study on Education and Cultural Anthropology.  She earned a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University, and also focused study on addiction counseling and school-based counseling.

Since 2012, Kelly has been providing individual, group, and family counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience working with mental health and addiction issues in various treatment settings, including school systems, adult partial hospitalization programs, community counseling centers, and outpatient substance abuse programs.  Prior to joining Shore Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health, Kelly was employed as the Clinical Director of an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility that specializes in Opioid Dependence and medication assisted treatment. Her diverse clinical training has allowed her to develop a thorough understanding of the many issues related to addiction, both for the individual struggling with addiction and their loved ones. She has since been contracted as an instructor for New Jersey Prevention Network, teaching students required coursework for licensure / certification as an Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC/LCADC).

Kelly uses an integrated approach to psychotherapy, commonly combining different therapeutic tools to meet the unique needs of her clients.
