Stefanie Granzin, MA, LPC

Stefanie Granzin is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated from Georgian Court University with a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2011. She began her counseling career in 2011 and worked for an intensive outpatient program, providing services to individuals with chronic mental illness. In 2012, Stefanie began working with veterans, active duty military personals and family members of service personals. Since then, she has provided individual counseling to combat veterans who served during different war eras ranging from World War II to current overseas engagements. Stefanie also provided counseling to clients who experienced sexual trauma, and she worked with clients who sustained head injuries after combat exposure or motor vehicle accidents. Stefanie has over five years of experiences working as a crisis intervention clinician at Bayshore Medical Center and Riverview Medical Center. There, Stefanie provided services to patients of all age ranges, who presented to the emergency department with a variety of complains including imminent danger, psychosis, behavioral difficulties, mood disorders, as well as stressors related to Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia or Intellectual Impairments.

Stefanie uses Cognitive Behavioral Counseling techniques and follows a humanistic counseling approach in order to work with her clients and their symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety and Depression. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor and an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the New Jersey Counseling Association (NJCA). Stefanie is an active supporter of the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey (BIANJ), and she is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Society for Biofeedback and Behavioral Medicine (MASBBM). She completed Biofeedback as well as a Neurofeedback Training in 2015.
